• Titanium Dioxide

A white natural sunscreen and

anti-inflammatory agent.

• Zinc Oxide

A natural sunscreen providing broad

spectrum UVA/UVB protection.

• Sericite

A colorless mica that can be used to cut

the opacity of Titanium Dioxide and also

works as an oil absorber. It also gives

the makeup better application and slip.

• Rice Powder

Cosmetic grade- An oil humectant

(draws oil out of the pores). Is safe for

acne prone skin, unlike cornstarch

which is a source of food for bacteria.

• Kaolin Clay

A very mild, white China clay

used for it’s natural oil-absorption.

• Mica

Natural “glitter”. Provides shimmer and

sparkle. This helps give the cosmetics

some depth while also refracting light

and drawing attention away from minor

discolorations and fine lines.

• Iron Oxides

Natural pigment- very opaque.

Used for tinting cosmetics.

BAD Ingredients:

These ingredients are also common, but can cause problems so are best to avoid.

• Talc/ Various Powders

Common fillers- can cause respiratory

problems and increase acne breakouts.

• FD&C Dyes

Derived from coal tar.

• Bismuth Oxychloride

Known skin irritant- causes itching,

rashes and breakouts. Especially

prevalent when the wearer sweats.

• Ferric Ferrocyanide

Controversial because of its suspected'

toxicity.

• Carmine

Crushed beetles, unsuitable for Vegans.

Pretty: Serecite

Eyeshadow:

Serecite, iron oxides, titanium dioxide kaolin clay;

may contain ultramarine blue, silica, zinc oxide.

Versatile Mineral Powders:

Mica, Iron Oxides, Titanium Dioxide. May contain ferric

ferrocyandie (#21, 22, 23, 63, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 3)

Eye and Lip Liners:

Cold-pressed Jojoba Oil, Castor Oil, beeswax,

candelilla wax, vitamin E (wheat germ based), Mica,

Iron Oxides, Titanium Dioxide. Bright blue and Navy:

may contain ferric ferrocyanide.

Body Shimmer:

Mica, Corn Starch, Iron Oxides, Titanium Dioxide.

Lipstick (Vegan):

Base ingredients: Cocoa Butter, Candelilla Wax, Castor Oil,

Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Sesame Oil, Avocado Butter,

Macademia Nut Oil, Vitamin E (wheat germ based).

Color Ingredients: Mica, Iron Oxides, Titanium Dioxide,

may contain Manganese Violet.

Lip Gloss:

Base Ingredients: Castor oil, organic coconut oil,

sunbleached beeswax, castor wax, soybean oil, vitamin e,

(wheat germ based), Organic essential oil of sweet orange

Color ingredients:  Mica, Iron Oxides, Titanium Dioxide,

may contain Manganese Violet.

Natural Mascara:

purified water, Vegetable glycerin, beeswax, copernicia

cerifera (carnauba) wax, vegetable glyceryl stearate,

lecithin, vegetable stearic acid, safflower oil, glycine soja

(soybean) oil (and) aloe barbadensis leaf extract,

simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, silica, cellulose

gum, tocopherol, xanthan gum, chamomilla recutita

(matricaria) flower extract, rosemary) leaf extract, cucumis

sativus (cucumber) fruit extract, phenoxyethanol.

Natural Fingernail Polish:
